for all the complaining around here about the quality of life these days one would think we have reached the "jumping off place".
yeah ya have to put up with alot of garbage, what else is new? it is a individual choice to make life what you want.

I agree life IS what you make it, but it is so hard to control everything that comes our way and our kids. alot of it is just gut wrenching awful to me. I once read an article written by a lady who just turned 103, I can't remember her name, but her secret for living so long was, " It's your life, and it's your job to make it sweet!

grandma (nana) came from a dirt poor isle in Portugal and was grateful to be in America . I can remember as a child she would open a kitchen cabinet full of her canning and store bought and say to me "Isn't America a wonderful country" she appreciated every thing she had and believed that life was all about attitude. Her favorite expression was "when life hands you lemons make leomonade" I miss her but am grateful I had a chance to know her.
