Antique jelly bowls

hello all,, i wondered if someone out there, might be able to help me??? i have a very old glassdevider bowl about 3 ins. in diam. and 2 ins. high,with 3 very short little feet, black w/cane crisscross patterns,on outside, curved devider on inside,w/ pat.appl'd for on bottom, i've been told it was a jelly bowl,, but no one is sure,,,,, if anyone has any info. on this could you please email me,,,vmccallwa@hotmail.com i would appreciate it very much,,thank you

I think it sounds like a relish dish, at least to me, hard to tell without seeing it. My suggestion would be to try and look it up, like on ebay and see if there is anything similar to it out there. Good luck.

What you have is what is called a 'sauce' or sometimes a 'pickle-dish'...Without pics there is no way in heck anyone can help you with the ID...
