Just wanted to warn purchasers of metal buildings to beware when buying from fastrac. Here are a list of problems that are associated with my purchase. I have not received the building, so all of these concerns are before delivery. I will leave feedback after I have recieved the building. 1) Had received a bid earlier from another company that was substansially lower than fastrac..........There were some issues as to the weight of the steel between the two companies and some issues of how the codes were met. I trusted fastrac for accurate information.......but now I am not sure I didn't get screwed and overpayed. 2) I was to receive a comparable bid from the two companies.........after the contract was signed they ommited a key element (5% collaterale load).....to get it I had to pay an additonal amount to fastrac. 3) The building was ordered end of Jan 04...didn't get final plans for city review until Feb 19th 04. 4) Once they have your deposit........you are stuck with whatever was signed.......you cannot resend the contract even if they have done nothing to incur any costs..... 5) Fine print is so small you need a magnifying glass to see it. Even if you pay for the building in full they can raise the total you owe.......im my case it was an additonal 2500. for a 45000. building if steel prices go up anytime before delivery. I find this unfair and I want anyone buying a building to check this out and beware of a purchase from fastrac. 6) I ordered a 30lb snowload on the original contract. They called the building dept in my town and now the final paperwork shows a 26 1/2 lb snowload. It was explained that the only load that was important to the city was the ground snowload. It is still not clear to me why I did not receive what was ordered.......but I need my building up........and it looks like if I want it I will be subject to anything that Fastrac comes up with. 7)Once the final paperwork on the beginning of production was received it was not the same as the amount agreed upon. It appears that one division of this company doesn't know what the other divisions are doing. It is very disorginized and has left a bad taste in my mouth twards this company. I don't know what to expect from here.......but if my past experience is worth anything I would not consider another purchase from fastrac buildings. |

| they got a bad reputation around here too. Most times around here they skam you for the deposit. anywheres from 10% to 25% of the total price they quote After dealing with 3-4 of the name brands and getting screwed around by them all I went ahead and built another pole barn. |
