A year ago today my DH (darling husband) asked me to marry him. It was a sunday and my birthday. We went to church together that morning and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why he couldn't sit still. We were in the middle of wheat harvest and I work the scales at the local coop and had been working 14 hour days for a week. He was a truck driver hauling grain out of various coops and worked 18 hour days. I was so tired that Sunday morning it was all I could do to listen to our preacher, yet here was this guy next to me fussing and squirming all over the place, I asked him a few times what was the matter with him, and he assured me he was just fine. After church he suggested we skip Sunday school, which we never ever do and go to his house, I said that would be fine. We got to his house and went out to sit on the front porch swing, a favorite spot. He was still squirming around and not himself at all, I finally asked him again what in the world was the matter with him, he asked if I really wanted to know, I said of course I did. He asked me to marry him. Then he had to get back in his truck and go haul grain and I had to go back to the coop. There is a picture in the photo gallery if you like. Thanks for letting me share.
Kristy

well cogratualations you 2! You're not a boring couple, it's just that young couples sometimes make easy targets. Other day Chris and Summer were sitting idly on our couch and Bruce said "Look at them. You look just like an old married couple! She's trying to figure out a way to kill him and he's contemplating suicide!" (not if i get me first :)lol

Congratulations are in order, Kristy, hope you have many more aniversarys to come. Wife and I have been married for about fourty years,[can't rember for sure]....happily for about two and a half.....think we have both developed high tolerence thresholds...I knew the honeymoon was over when I got up on the secound day after we married, and found a lunch kit and thermose packed and filled, ready to go, on the corner of the kitchen table....subtleness, is such an endearing quality.....have a gooder, R.E.L.
