Clod, according to ABES Volume Calculator the total volume is 39.378896 cubic feet. Which equals 294.5656005558892 US Gallons.

I confirmed this on a HP Calculator.

Now, this is based on the inside diameter of the cylinder being exactly 3'-2"......gfp

Oh,, I get 440.6 gallons on your site. 38 tall is 3 ft 2 inch .I just made it 3 ft rather than get into tenths of foot. 60 inches long is 5 ft. It ask for feet. i got 440.6 gals. Which looks close if you look at the tank.

i see the difference: i used 5 feet for the height + 3.05 for diameter. this time i got 273 gallons altogeter.
that makes sense - i made a 3ft diameter, 4 ft tall cylinder for hot water storage, and it held 200 gallons (plus 11.5 for expansion), just a little smaller than yours. btw, it made a dandy trash burner too, now that it's all leaky. holds several trash bags. :)
