The mower blew up, Just came from the John Deere dealer. Had wanted to spend around $2600.

Ended up spending $5550 !! X500 model, We started out looking at the X300's, but they didn't have any left, the two they had were sold.

Oh well, it's a lot better mower. 54 inch deck and we had a 48. 4 year or 500hr. warranty.

Plus, on the bigger models our son gets an $850 employee rebate. Hope we can pry it away from him.

Have a nice rest of the day, Gene

I finished gathering all of my income tax information yesterday and put it all together in some understandable fashion. So today i took it to my tax preparer! I am so glad I got it done! Now if I were smart and organized I would get busy and put January through June's stuff down for my 2009 taxes. I should do that today. I do not know if I will though. :-(

Mine is almost done! my tax man is on vacation and will be back and be done the middle of July. We have been doing it month to month now so when all the W2's 1099's are in in Feb we can have it done by April 15th. That is if we don't get any hurricanes, 2004 and 2005 are wot set us back to begin with!
