| The mower blew up, Just came from the John Deere dealer. Had wanted to spend around $2600. Ended up spending $5550 !! X500 model, We started out looking at the X300's, but they didn't have any left, the two they had were sold. Oh well, it's a lot better mower. 54 inch deck and we had a 48. 4 year or 500hr. warranty. Plus, on the bigger models our son gets an $850 employee rebate. Hope we can pry it away from him.
