Someone registered using the name Clod and it was not my friend Clod. So you might be expecting some excitement when the new "Clod" posts something. Isn't it amazing how some folks who want to buck the system manage to do it. The main reason I registered here was to avoid that happening to me. I doubt anyone would want to register as me but you never know. So when a post appears with the name CLOD just know it is not the one who used to post on here.

Hello SE.This is your old Linux lovin pal clod.I got my name back.These impostors are not aware that my ancestry reaches all the way back to King Louie 14. (KINDA). Anyhow I just stopped by to say hi to everyone.Hello Lenore! That is just what happened. I suggest anyone here who is even interested in claiming their name/handle should register just to keep it theirs.

Thanks Lenore. The "Real" Clod is a good man. Had trouble trying to register on the forum he now posts, I eventually gave up.

| I run into the same problem Wylie. And, like you I just gave up for the time being. In case anyone cares, I've come to have more respect for Kim since she deleted a single post out of a thread. Of course it was by that individual who loves to call people Dumb Donkey.

| same here, broke down and reluctantly decided to register, tried 3 or 4 times, gave up. Lenore's report is interesting--just goes to show that registration is NOT going to solve the site's troll problems!

LOL I am sure who ever registered as Clod was one who was using his name to cause problems before. I suspect if that happens with the "new" Clod it will be reported to the owners and I hope banned permanently.
