Back in the 50's there was a guy who would come around & trade a subscription 2 Farm Journal Or Progressive Farmer 4 OLD BATTERIES! Now, they are TOXIC waste!! Man, this country has really gone downhill!! CC

a few cents per pound if you have a bunch take them to a scrap yard if you have one or two take them to O'riely

If you buy a new battery they will charge you $10 extra unless you have an old one to turn in.

before the scrap price bubble burst I was getting 11 cents per pound for lead batteries, now it is half of that.
