| Indianapolis Country Kitchen, One of Two Pictures |

| I added an 8 x 28 room onto the back of our Indianapolis house in 1985. We had a very tiny kitchen and no dining area. I am standing in the dining area taking this picture. I built the cabinets of 3/4 inch oak veneer with solid oak shelves, cabinet stiles and rails, doors and drawer fronts. I had a carpenter assemble the doors. I built the drawer fronts. I got the style idea from the Southern Living magazine back then. The center island has a large single bay sink with garbage disposal. You are looking at a Sears overhead microwave and a GE profile convection oven. Picture taken January, 1998. |
