| This is a picture of the home place near Fowler, Michigan. As close as my brothers and I can make it, it's some time after 1944 and before 1954. The bottom of the picture is Granddad's place, 80 acres. The top is Dad's 40. By the time I came along, Granddad had retired and Dad was farming the whole 120. |
