| Ice Plow |
 |
| This is a horse-drawn ice cutter - they were used to cut & harvest ice before the days of refrigeration - it cuts deep grooves in lake ice and once the criss-crossed grooves are ready, the men used hand-held ice saws to punch thru, gathered and hauled the blocks to the ice-house where they're covered with sawdust and used to cool persishables all summer. |
