Kountry Life How-To

Troubleshooting your small gas engine
If you can't tell whether you have an ignition or fuel problem on your lawnmower or other small four-cycle gasoline engine, remove the air cleaner cover and put in a small squirt of WD-40. If it fires and tries to start, chances are you have a problem with the fuel, if it doesn't it's probably the ignition. Don't do this with two-cycle engines like weed-eaters or chain saws.
