How To And What Is Low Impact Logging
Well As I wrote earlier this year on here low impact logging has more to do with the person doing it then the way it is done. One logger might use horses and in doing so still over work the land and cause ruts or worse. While another man may also use horses for low impact logging work but never leave heavy ruts. Both ways are low impact but one provides alittle relief to the land and to the animals being used. Why over work you horses and yourself. The market is stronger today by 50%-60% then it was just months ago. 10 acres of hardwood firewood is worth more then 500,000.00 now and will continue to climb. We think low impact logging isn't no impact but please don't ruin the horse loggers rep by over cutting and rutting...Email me with questions and comments to krrklr2002@yahoo.com
