| Take an old coffee can and make a hole in the can about 1/4 inch from the rim of the open side. The hole should be from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch round (you can start small and increase the size if you don't have good flow). Now fill the can with water and place an old pie tin on top. Holding the pie tin tightly onto the top, flip it upside down. The water will stay at the level of the hole and keep the tin filled with water. This will work for a small number of chickens.
