Kountry Life How-To

Keep Your Horse, Sheep, etc from Bolting Grain
Sometimes a horse, goat, sheep and other livestock get so excited about their grain they bolt it down too fast. The slower they eat their food, the better they will chew it which is best for digestion.

If you place a large rock or two in with the grain (the rock has to be to large for them to take into their mouth), it really slows them down and they are forced to take their time while eating.
