| To weigh your pig this way, you do need to be on friendly terms with it. We try to visit and pet our wiener pigs often so that we can handle them easily; Measure the heart girth (i.e., the upper torso, or chest). Measure the length of the body from right between the ears to the base of the tail. Here is the calculation; Heart Girth x Heart Girth x Length divided by 400 = the weight of the pig.
