Tips for Growing Strawberries
Easily grown all over America, strawberries are a great fruit for new gardeners, especially kids. Of course, you need the right kind of growing environment--a strawberry patch requires tons of direct sunlight and well-drained soil.

Although the plant adapts well to various ground conditions, the best results are with soil that's fairly rich.

Here's a key tip; do not start a strawberry patch in a spot where tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, eggplant, strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries have grown in the last three years. They all risk passing on fungi and pests that will deep-six your strawberries.
