See This Hand?
Bubba and Rabbit wuz digging a ditch in the sun one hot day near Wacahoota in July.

Rabbit paused and leaned again his shovel and asked Bubba

' Why is it that we be down here in the ditch digging in the hot sun and the boss man is sitting in the shade a telling us what to do?'

Donno, replied Bubba, Why doan you ask him?

So Rabbit walked up to the Boss Man and say 'Boss Man. How come we doin all the hard work in the hot sun and you be sittin in the shade telling us what to do?

The Boss Man jus looked at Rabbit and spit his chew and said 'Boy, I will show you why'

The Boss Man held his hand 6 inches in front of a big oak tree and told Rabbit,

'See this hand?'

I want you to hit my hand as hard as you can'

Rabbit got a puzzled look on his face but figured he find the answer to his question so he rears back and throws a hard punch at the Boss Mans hand who moves it at the last second and Rabbits fist slams into the oak tree.

The Boss Man gives him a cold stare and says 'That is the reason I am the Boss Man and you are the ditch digger.

When Rabbit gets back into the ditch holding his sore hand, Bubba ask him.'you find out why we digging the ditch and not sittin in the shade?

'Shore did' says Rabbit holding his hand about 6 inches in front of his face.

'See this hand?'

'I want you to hit it as hard as you can'
