| When I was a little girl, I lived with my Grandma and Grandpa in Port Orchard, WA. When Grandpa built the small house we lived in (in about 1938-39)he of course built an out house for us. It was a great little out house because Grandpa had made it a three holer. There was a big hole for Grandpa and a medium hole for Grandma and a small hole in the middle for me, with a tiny step I could use to get up to my special place. My Grandma took me out there a few times to teach me how to tear a page from the old Sears catalog and crinkle it, then rub it between my fists to make it soft. I dont have use of an out house now but If I did Id know just what to do, thanks to 'memories' of the good old days. Myra, from WA, entered 1999-12-29 |
