1 Quart of heavy whipping cream (From your grocery store)
Salt if you wish
Let cream set out 8 to 24 hrs, To sour.
This gives your butter more flavor.
Make sure it's at least 60 Degrees before you put it in the blender. Put it in the blender on the lowest speed & let it go. When the blender stops, This is when you need to add your salt.Put the liquid in a jar & shake for about 3 to 4 minutes.Take the solids out & squeeze the liquid from the solids. Put the solids in a mold & out it in the fridge.
