4 chicken breasts (bone in)
Water to cover
1 teaspoon sage
salt & pepper to taste
1 rib of celery cut up
1 or 2 cans of pillsbury biscuits
1/2 stick butter or margerine
2 cans chicken broth
3 bullion cubes
First boil chicken breasts .. then add all ingredients to flavor broth...Roll out biscuits thin on floured surface .. cut into small strips & drop into boiling broth...Debone chicken & pull into small pieces .. When dumplings are done (about 15 minutes) add chicken to mixture.
Secret of the goodness is flavor of the broth.
