1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup flower
1 can corn
1/2 teaspooon salt
1 tablespoon butter
2 eggs (separated into yolks & whites)
1 cup milk
Sift baking powder, sugar and flour. Place corn in a bowl and add salt, pepper and butter. Add well-beaten yolks, then add the flour and milk.
Beat egg whites till stiff and cut into the corn mixture.
Drop mixture by spoonfulls onto a greased griddle. Fry until brown on both sides.
