Class of 1941 Sherman Center School
8 Grades in a one room school house May 1941 Lloyd above the arrow.With one teacher, Irene Messing was the teacher. Back in the good old days,or were they so good. Things were sure different then.And we all learned something or it was drove in on your bottom with a huge pointer stick. There was no electric in the school and two out house outside. One in each corner of the school grounds. And the water was carried in in a pail from a well Heated with a big coal stove, The school never was too warm, as the stove went out every nite.
