thats funny my 4x4 is on a 72' chevy 3/4 frame. Originally a long bed but shortened to fit a solid '65 chevy truck cab and stepside bed, I custom made the body lift bored a 350 .30 over added a 3spd auto, short gears of course, and a new set of 40" Super swamper TSL's. Probably the best tire on the market alittle noisy but '65 model year registration has no emmisions limitations so cherry bombs are welded directly to the headers (some extension for the transfer case)which with what I assume is well over 300hp the 350 and some stout gears gladly barks the 40"s in second. And practical it isn't, but a head turner it is theres no reason for suspension lift it'll straddle a 20"+ log no problem. Its a toy and a fun one at that, I don't expect it to get me to work though it will on occasion, for the road my choice is my caddy STS. Imagine a two 300hp vehicles one luxurious and comfortable one rough and tough as a box of nails residing in the same driveway. And to the next stupid little jap-burner car that pulls up next to me at a red light with their over sized dumb sounding muffler I'm going to run over plastic piece of junk with my bad-bowtie, or blow your doors off with an american made cadillac.
