thanks for reminding me about the picture - old problem - when i built the page i used a picture from c:/My Documents instead of the http:/www.gomenahga one and sure enough, darn thing was showing me my own picture just like i told it. problem is, you guys dont have that picture in your files so you got zilch. should work now.

As to the collector, oh yeah they work and it wouldn't take a very big one either. my buddy once built something that followed the sun - it only had maybe a 2-ft long curved reflector (hyperbolic - looked like a shiny snow shovel scoop) and he hung a brass toilet tank float (vented) in the focal point to hold the water. every afternoon that thing would boil over and steam itself empty. he called it his coffeepot.
btw, the beam was too hot to hold your finger in -if you held a bookmatch on a wire in there, the match would light. :)
