Hi All,
I have another question for y'all.

I have a corner, up below the pond.An acre or so.
It's kinda brushy, and full of Multiflora rose.
I want to mow it all over & clean it up some.

Then, I want to sow something more worth while, that maybe the deer & turkeys might hide in or use.
Anybody here ever sow any of the Native Grasses?
Big bluestem, Indian Grass, or Switchgrass?

They all grow about 5 to 7 ft. tall.
I could mow it a couple times a year, or not.
Native grasses are s'posed to be good for ecology,
and for pasture too.
Seed is kinda pricey though. Seems like it'd be a good use for what is now a worthless spot??
I got another spot, down along the road I want to cut(Got multiflora rose, everywhere).
I'm gonna sow it with shorter native grasses, little bluestem, side oats, junegrass, & such, after it's cleaned up.
Anyone have any info on this..........
Thanks, 'Til later............
Old John
