The cable lift is a little bit harder to operate than the hydraulic ones. The HD-15 I ran had a bad steering pump,so you had to use both feet on the pedals to get it to turn. It also had leaky seals in the blower. If you got it on a hill side leaning towards the blower side it would start to suck oil into the engine. If you weren't careful the engine could over rev. This didn't happen to me. I was lucky enough to get it on the level before things got out of hand.

But,I do have to admit,the old girl could really move the material.
