Chinese Chow? What's that?
No's our Buddy dog. He's a registered Chocolate Labrador. Weighs 100+ pounds. Calm as a stuffed Teddy Bear.

During daylight, he doesn't bark at a thing. The cats even nap on his back while the deer are grazing about 100 ft. away. His friends are the calves. I'm not even sure he will eat raw meat.

But Night Time is a different story. He guards our chickens, ducks, cats, and whatever else farm life we have. He chases off possums, raccoons, fox, coyote, or anything else that threatens to harm the livestock.

He's about 8 1/2 years old now, and I dread the day he can't keep up with us around the farm. I'll cry, I know I will.
