About the goats...
I took a head count, one was missing.
Uh oh....
I walk out to see whats up, sure enough one of them was still under the building. When I say building, I use the term loosely. It's actually an old chopper box(forage wagon for some of you)the I took off the wagon and set on the ground. throw some 2x4's and a tarp on it, viola! a goat shed. Problem is, it has the stringers under it yetwhich leaves a crawl space under it for a couple of feet front and back. Only a couple of feet because then there is a cross brace to keep them from getting farther in.

Not this goat.

I figure she was under there when the water started to rise, got scared and somehow managed to get over the cross brace. (no small task!) She was sitting in 8 inches of water with not much more than her head above the water level.(pygmy goats)
Off I go looking for the handyman jack.
I had to jack up the whole side of the building, just so I could reach under and drag her out. All while standing in 6-8 inches of water.
