We have always used 'strong' Iodine Tincture...this is NOT the one that you normally get over the counter in the small bottles...that will be in the neighborhood of 3% iodine and 2% potassium iodide...the one you want may have to be ordered...there is no prescription but most pharmacies do not carry it...it will be 7% Iodine and 5% Potasium Iodide in 85% alcohol...it will be labeled 'Strong Iodine Tincture'...penetrates better due to the high alcohol and will work...dab it on the affected area (only the wart) 4-5 times daily and it will kill those suckers...
