One way to do it is to over graze it with sheep.Put more sheep on it than would be allowed.They will eat every thing off in a short time.Then when they are done you can sell the sheep,and start your tilling.My Dad always likes to tell of a ol' fella who bought a forty acre brush patch.Everyone in the neighbor hood laughed at him,thought he got took.Until he bought a bunch of sheep,and let them eat every thing off.He sold the sheep,and the next year he plowed it up and planted corn on the land.Been in production ever since.
