You don't owe anybody any apology for that post, you were too kind if you ask me. People like that helped make others feel like we failed somehow. That feeling is hard to shake. I see the pictures of the last days of Saigon and it's hard to understand on the one hand how things could have happened and cost so many lives. Yet on the other hand I am glad we got out then rathar than drag it on. BUT... there was no excuse for the reception our troops recieved, they should live their life in shame for their part in that. I didn't have do much over there, I just did my job I was asked to do.
