well y'all it turns out to be a good morning...sun shinning and things might dry up a bit today...hope to gets things in front of the house cleaned up and mowed this side of the pond...about 3 acres....I met a man down the road that has a junk yard plus some good items that he sells every day all day long...went threw his place seen alot of things idont think he could give away but others are good deals...he has landscape timbers fer 2.50 each at the co-op they go at 4.00 each....I'm gonna go to his place this morning and ask him to swap..since now i need fencing[which he aslo has at dicounted prices]....gonna ask him to swap a garden chipper/shredder i bought 2 years ago and used maybe 3 times...just had new blades put on it last year and have yet to crank her exchange im gonna ask fer some landscape timbers, wire fencing, and some old windows[for cold frames].....I bought the chipper/shredder at 400.00 thinking these few items are a good deal and i know the landscape timbers have been sitting roadside fer over a year now...thats how i found him....been seeing them roadside forever now and just stopped by to see what he was planning to dowith them...said everything on the lot was fer sale...we bout all his matter cages,a piano, buckets, old linens last time we visited him...I dont mind losing a lil money on the chipper/shredder since it just takes up space in the workshop/barn and sits....i'm gonna ask him what he thinks is a fair deal for my chipper and let him know that it might move alot faster then the items i ask in trade...y'all pray fer me that he deals with me fairly...i can really use these things and after all I believe he is getting the better deal.....wish me luck...dale anne
