Salmoneye hit all the right answers below, but I want to make a pitch for keeping the lamp rather than selling it.

Aladdin lamps (especially the older ones) are great for emergencies, but especially just for ambience around the house. We use them regularly during the winter. They throw a lot of light, a little warmth and are part of our American heritage that should be preserved. We got our first one at a flea market for emergency use, but got hooked on them after trying it out. Now have quite a few (I refuse to call it a collection, because we use them all regularly) for use and decoration.

So keep your Model B, learn to use it and enjoy one of those great and timeless American products.
