I agree - I've seen wells take 2 weeks of pumping to clear up - if at all - if you're lucky you have some kinda pond to pump it into. My buddy out west hit oily water (about 10%) - not enough to develop but too much to water the stock. So they scooted the rig over and started another 2000 feet. This time it worked out okay but there's no saving some contaminations. At least now he can brag about striking oil once. :)
