Well we pulled it off . For three weeks now , we have been planning this surprise retirement party for my wife .
We had a invitation to a friends birthday party starting at noon at one daughter's place and I was to have her there at 1:15 . So I said ,I don't want to be the first one there so I stalled around and around finally she said come on lets go and get this over with and it was about time, so we left . I had to chew on my tooth pick and keep my hand up to my mouth all the way over there so she wouldn't see me grinning .
As we drove in seen a son and she thought that was odd why was he there
then as we parked and she seen the next door neighbor and every body looking at her taking pictures it dawned on her it was her party . Total surprise ,,,
There over 80 friends and family there ,lots to eat and drink .
Had this pig enough to feed every one and then some .It was full of sauerkraut
and sausage .
Of course I'm in the dog house and get even time is coming but it was worth it to see the look on her face when we stepped out of the car .
