Iodine stains...any cure other than time?

Had to treat my mule this morning for (hopefully early case) thrush.

Used 7% tincture of iodine and got it all over one hand. 4 soap/detergent cleanings and two mechanic's handcleaner cleanings later, my hand is still reddish brown.

Any way to get rid of the stain (yep, I'm going to buy plastic gloves as soon as the stores open).
