Beekeeper, when i was a kid, i used to go over
to my uncle Rays farm in Arkansas, he raised
1,000s of chickens at a time in those large brooder houses, well one morning during feeding
time, i lifted the gate on a feed bin to fill my
wheelbarrow and out junped a large rat, i being a
youngin thought the rat would get one of the chicks, just the opposite, them chicks jumped on
that rat and picked him clean, i just stood there
with my pie hole wide open, uncle Rays just about
wet himself laughing at me. good times! well since
then i have seen chickens kill and eat just about everything that aint tied down, including some of
my gamecocks killing and eating copperheads. egh
