Oh jeez - i went to whack brush away from a nice triple poplar clump one time, and what with the chainsaw running and trying to keep my balance and all, i didn't notice i was squishing a yellowjacket nest. By the time anything registered, they were all over my arm. I donated the still-running chainsaw, my cap and a few odd bits and bailed for the field, passing Suzn (she had the gas cans) on the way and yelling "BEES!". Luckily they didn't come that far cuz she just turned and watched me disappear, but she still reminds me what a hero i was that day. NAWT! I'd taken a few rounds but nothing major. They were still beating up the idling chainsaw 15 minutes later when i managed to shut it off. How a little thing like that can bring out a grown man's true colors is beyond me. :)
