I think this coming year we are going to raise a couple of pigs to send to the butcher shope...We bought one this year and they just charge us x amount of money for the dressed weight,,,carried to the butcher shop for us and believe it was only $235....the pig was about 200 pounds dressed...the the butcher shop did the killing...packaging..smoking...etc for $108...Altogether figured out that the pork cost us about $1.69 a pound...way better deal that you get in stores around here and lot better quality of meat...KAtG
