I have a ex army generator with a Ford N engine. But it is only 115 volt,60 amp . I have bought a 12kw generator off ebay and it is in Buffalo now waiting for me to pick it up tomorrow. I will remove the old generator head and install the 12 KW, 220 volt in it's place. The Ford engine runs sweet and it should make a great stand by unit. If you can get the Chrysler unit cheap enough that may be something for you to think about.
