Right off the right side of the pump on the bottom of the tractor you will see a plug in a threaded hole. That will be the pressure side and the return will have to go into the inspection cover thru a taped in fitting. The lift arms will have to be chained up so the ram will stay extended under the top plate. The hydraulics are slow on the 8N and not very high pressure. You would be better off putting a PTO Driven pump or one off the front of the engine to work a log spliter. Mark H.
