If I remember right walkers and blueticks were popular around here. One of our favorites was a redbone. I haven't been coon hunting in years. I sure did like to sit out and listen to them. The mention of coon hunting stirred up some old memories. I am working local now and hope to make time to go with some of the fells that still hunt. Once in awhile we would take one to someone who wanted to cook it and for awhile the price of hides was pretty good. It has gotten so a lot of people don't want any dogs on their place and it is kinda hard to find room to hunt around close.
