I was also considering a tractor, until I thought about climbing the hills around here (I live in Corinth) and was concerned about jackknifing the thing with a heavy load- I suppose if you're not careful, you could do some serious damage on any type of machine, but I thought the ATV would be a bit more versatile. Besides, I may want to take all the implements off and ride up the old logging road to check out my property at the height of land... I suppose I could do that with a tractor too, just a little slower. Somehow, for the snow plowing and dragging trees out of the woods, the ATV seemed like it would be easier to maneuver with less "training".
