welcome zenia - we live in a 100-yr-old log cabin between a river & lake, this used to belong to the station master and he tended horses for west fargo stage line which could round trip from fargo/duluth in a month. the coach would ford the river at the top of the peninsula, then come down our driveway to get a fresh team, then climb the hill at the other end of the strip and travel croos-country, trying to make staples for the nite. we still find horseshoes and things.
we were out west 30 years, then ran a motel til 2 years ago, i'm recovering from my 2nd stroke. suzn likes to read and we have 2 cats who entertain us.
