i used to sell that VX6 stuff, and it works a little. Better yet, set it on a stump, pour & save the battery acid and replace it with Coke overnite instead. That'll dissolve the crud. (It'll foam all over, but water rinses it off.) Then rinse iot with lotsa water, refill it and charge the tar out of it! That salvages about 90% of the ones that didn't work off the shelf. Either that or buy a $25 salvaged one. :)
