The last hundred years?? heck, things are changing so fast that in ten years, things are all changed around. Neighbor's sister came home after 15 yrs in some third world back water. She had heard of some of the things, but she had never operated a computer, had never seen a gas pump that worked from a credit card. Had never seen a CD or DVD. Movies and TV shows, that have given us phrases in every day language, don't make sense to her. She had never heard of Brittany Spears, (Lucky) Never saw the Titanic, Friends, or Seinfeld. She couldn't believe how much some TV reporters had aged. "Is Jane Pauling still on the today show?" She says it seems like she was in a coma. She had heard of some things, but never saw or experienced them. That was just 15 or 16 yrs.
