I havenot raised berrys in a lot of Years but You seem to have "everbearing" plants. I always figured 25 as a minimum for People who wanted a start. I had several hundred plants to the point I was happy to have folks come thin em. They like an acid soil,best bet there is take a soil sample to Your Extension office and let Them tell You what You need. Being on the wet coast You may have good acid content (low PH). On South You'd be fightin alkali. I used spent acid to lower the PH for Mine in So Cal, but this is a caution area. Good luck'n good eatin
