We bought a Polaris Sportsman 4wd last Jan and put a Swisher plow on it. We've been very happy with it. The mounting hardware goes the entire length of the atv. We were worried the hardware might hang up on dirt, ditches, etc., but no problems with that, and we drove it through plenty of irrigation ditches this summer. I've hit many a rock, snowbank, or frozen chunk of ground with the blade without bending or damaging the mounting frame. The blade will flip forward if you hit anything too hard. That can be frustrating sometimes, but I can see the need for it.

We use it for plowing snow and for moving horse and cattle manure around in the corrals. The plow won't move large quantities of really wet manure, unless you shave the edge off a pile as you go. But, it has moved tons of manure, plus a winter's worth of snow over this past year. We have no complaints.

As for moving dirt, it won't easily move large amounts of dirt. I've mostly moved manure, snow and wood chips. I have used it to fill a hole back up when we had to dig a hydrant out this summer.

You still need a tractor with a bucket or scraper to get into the corral corners, but this has been a handy setup.

We also bought the bucket attachment but, because of the way our winch is set up on the atv, we need to make some modifications so the bucket will dump.

Come to think of it, we found the Swisher hardware through someone on this site. Thanks!
