Here are our home's 4x4s;

I drive a 1970 GMC Custom 1/2 ton short bed 4x4.
It has a 350 4 bolt main engine, 373 posi in the rear and 373 in the front, 4-barrel, 350 tranny, rust in the rockers and it will climb just about anything.
My wife drives a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4.
3 inch Pro-Comp lift, BFGoodrich 31x10.50 tires on Eagle alloys. It too can go most places and it still has a solid front axle and a "real" transfer case unlike the new breed of "push button" all wheel drives out their. I think they call them urban yuppie SUVs.
No cars in our house, no place to use them around the area.
